DESCRIPTION

Macassar Ebony is a prized wood that is dense, manageable and naturally heavy, with a majestic colour contrast: its coloured veins add light and dynamism to the deep black sapwood, offering an unparalleled combination of nuances with the slightly bluish highlights of the chrome finish. 

The wood is varnished to make it more water resistant and to ensure a pleasant and ergonomic grip. You can keep this razor for years as you can simply change the blade if it loses its effectiveness.

ADVICE FOR USE

It is preferable to shave in the morning after a shower as the humidity softens the hair and tones the skin, which becomes less sensitive to the aggressions of shaving.

On a wet face, apply shaving foam (obtained with a soap or cream) in circles for 1 to 2 minutes to straighten the hair. The foam provides an optimal layer of moisture and protection to the skin.  Shave in the direction of the hair, limiting the number of passes of the blade, to avoid irritation. If you want to shave a second time, re-sweep your face and shave in the opposite direction of the hair. Rinse the face with cool water and apply an aftershave balm to soothe and rehydrate the skin. 

MAINTENANCE

Clean the razor blades with hot water to remove hair and other residues (shaving cream, soap, etc.) and to prevent the growth of bacteria. When cleaned properly, the blade will remain effective for longer and provide a real pleasure during shaving. If the blade becomes worn, it is best to change it to avoid damaging your skin.
