INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
The ideal time to shave is in the morning, right after a shower and before breakfast. At this moment, your facial hair—primarily composed of keratin—is softer and easier to cut, while your skin is less sensitive. To prepare your shaving foam, load your brush with shaving soap or cream. Shaving preparation products serve two purposes: they enhance hair hydration by removing the natural oil (sebum) and provide a protective barrier for your skin against the blade.
With Shaving Soap: Start by wetting your face (ideally after a shower). Briefly run your shaving brush under warm water, then work up a thick, creamy lather in the bowl without pressing too hard on the bristles. Apply the lather to your face in circular motions for one to two minutes, allowing the hair to soften and straighten for an easier shave.
With Shaving Cream: Once your face is prepped and the shaving brush is moistened with warm water, apply a small amount of cream to the brush and lather directly on your face for one to two minutes. Alternatively, some users prefer to apply a small line of cream directly to each cheek and then work it into a rich lather using the brush.
MAINTENANCE
To preserve the quality of your shaving brush for years to come, rinse it thoroughly after each use to remove any remaining cream or soap. Gently shake off excess water, then softly rub the bristles on a clean towel. Finally, store the brush upside down on a suitable stand to allow proper drying.
