DESCRIPTION

A  shaving brush  in the iconic shape of Plisson with a  comfortable grip , shaped in black horn. Filled  with pure European gray badger hair , soft and firm at the same time, it will be perfect for daily use, whether with  shaving soap  or  shaving cream . Available in standard size (12), the most popular for everyday use. Made entirely by hand in the  Plisson workshops  in France. 

USAGE TIPS

The best moment to shave is in the morning, just after a shower and before breakfast: your hair, consisting mainly of keratin, are softer and easier to cut, and the skin of your face less fragile. Prepare your shaving foam by loading the brush with soap or shaving cream. Use of products called " shaving preparation " is twofold: it boosts hydration of the hair by removing its fat layer (sebum) and secondly, protects your skin from the aggression of the blade.

1/ With  shaving soap : With your face wet  beforehand   (ideally after showering), quickly run your shaving brush under lukewarm water and  emulsify the soap  inside the bowl (without crushing the hairs) until smooth. obtaining a thick and unctuous foam. Apply to the face in  circular movements  for one or two minutes, the time to soften  and straighten the hairs of your beard sufficiently.

2/ With the  shaving cream  : Once your face has been prepared and the shaving brush moistened with lukewarm water, place a dab of cream on the top of the brush and  soap  the face for one to two minutes as described above. Some users prefer to deposit, directly with the tube, a trace of cream on each cheek which they will then emulsify with the brush.

MAINTENANCE

To preserve the  qualities  of your  beard brush  for many years, we recommend  rinsing it well  after each use, to remove all traces of cream or soap and to drain it. Then rub it lightly on a bath towel before storing it,  upside down , on a  suitable support .
